Hi, I am Alan VanNice; welcome to asandbox.com - my Blog.  I am a Software Developer living in Denver, Colorado with my wife and two sons.  I own and operate Application, Incorporated, a consulting firm that specializes in implementing Software Applications.  (see my work).  This Blog is just my hobby.

Although, I currently earn much of my income from supporting expensive Oracle Applications, such as; JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, and Oracle Siebel On-Demand, my passion is providing inexpensive software to small businesses.  I own and operate a small business and even though we are small I still need to be able to compete with larger competitors. These competitors have all the bells and whistles; they have CRM systems, they have collaboration portals, they have the ability for custom email campaigns, and they have professional office applications.  I can give you all of these for Free! contact me to learn more.

vtiger CRM - An open source Customer Relationship Management System.  We use it to track our entire customer base. We have over 500o thousand accounts and 15,000 contacts in the vtiger system.  It is perfect for anyone that sales products or services to a sizeable customer list.  But best of all it’s free!  I offer both training and consulting for vtiger.  I can generally have you live and operational within 1 business day.
